As part of the Countryside Connections Grant we are holding a Walk Leaders Training Course with lunch provided at Canolfan Y Bont on Tuesday 14th May 2013.
This Training is free,there is nothing to pay but please wear or bring suitable clothing/footware as there will be a demonstration walk.
The course will run from 10am - 3.30pm and cover the following topics:
- Background to the Lets Walk Cymru Scheme
- Role of Walk Leader
- Demonstration Walk
- Risk Assessment
- Route Planning
- Benefits of Walking
- Barriers to Walking.
