Our monthly meeting is to be held on Wednesday 28th May at Pontarddulais Cricket Club at 7.30pm.
Gareth Davies from Environment Wales will be coming to talk to us and then the meeting will take place right afterwards.
Also on Thursday 22 May a dog walker in the park found a set of keys between the Rugby club and roundabout in the middle of the road. These have been handed to the Canolfan y bont who will hold on to them for a week before passing them onto the local PCSO's office.

Bluebells
We have a fantastic crop of Bluebells in the park this year.
If you have a bit of time to spare please take a walk through the second woods (past the rugby club entrance) and have a wander through the woodland.

Vandalism 4/5/14
We are sad to report that some vandalism has occurred in the park on Sunday 4/5/14.
One of our new interpretation panels which is placed near the rugby club entrance has had a stone thrown at it with a great deal of force. And the result is that the perspex cover has now got a sizeable smash mark in it.
These panels cost a great deal of money time and effort to install design and set up so we call on those responsible to think about what you are doing! this is for the good of the community not just for a few people to enjoy.
If you are spotted vandalising the park you will be reported to the authorities without fail!!!!!!
It is only a minority of people who like to cause damage so we ask you to please keep your eyes out for any suspicious behaviour around the park to the police and do not be afraid to report it.
Also there has been damage to advertising boards in the rugby ground and litter thrown on the ground there as well. A member of the public has reported a lot of noise in the park yesterday afternoon and we think these problems may have arisen then.
Remember this is your wonderful community don't let people ruin it for you.
