Dog Poo Dispenser.

A lot has been said for the dog mess problems in Pontarddulais of late. But Swansea City Council has kindly fitted a dog poo bag disperser in Coed Bach park. it is located by the car park end of the football field and it is near some bins as well. So if your pooch is caught short there is no excuse not to pick it up and dispose of it.
And we would like to advise people who are not picking up after their dogs that the situation is being constantly monitored and details will be passed on if necessary As several group members have been told to mind their own business or received a mouthful of abuse from owners who do not care.

Interpretation Panels

We are happy to report that 4 interpretation panels have been placed at various locations around the park.
We thank Gaynor Fuge for her efforts and time she spent designing these for us. We hope that people who use the park will enjoy them and will learn more about the fabulous selection of wildlife and plantlife around the location. Also a big thanks to Wyn Viv and Rob who positioned the signs for us.

Wood Removal

It has been noticed over the last few days that wood has been taken from around the cleared boating lake area in the 2nd woods.
This wood is intended for use within the park area only and it is an offence to take it without permission.
As a result we the Friends Of Coed Bach are keeping an eye around this area and will be reporting any vehicles that are parked suspiciously in the area of the lake. We are also asking members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour to the number on the top of the screen or to the police.
Please do not approach anyone you see taking anything as we do not want anyone to become involved in a confrontation.
We are aware that whoever is taking the wood may be unaware that they are committing theft, but they need to be aware of what they are doing.

Thank you for your help.
